The fast diagnostic process and full medical report enable the patient to start the treatment in shortest time – no need to wait for an appointment at the hospital and no need to wait for the interpretation of Ultrasound procedure results. The most experienced radiologist provides all the needed information regarding the medical status and all the recommendations to continue the diagnostic or treatment process
- First of all, please let us know that you need an ultrasound and what kind of it (it should be written in referring letter from your doctor or you can ask for specific ultrasound from the list) – fill the contact form or call us +972 (0)3-779-4993.
- Our administrator will contact you in very short time to schedule the visit at your place and will answer any question you may have about the process or the specific procedure. In addition – you will be instructed if any preparation should take a place before the ultrasound.
- Our specialist will contact you 30-60 minutes before he arrives to your location.
- The specialist will arrive with all required medical and diagnostic equipment.
- The ultrasound procedure may take from 15 up to 30 minutes.
- The Ultrasound procedure interpretation (the report) will be sent you by email within 24 hours.
Medical ultrasound (also known as diagnostic sonography or ultrasonography) is a diagnostic imaging technique. It is used to see internal body structures such as tendons, muscles, joints, vessels and internal organs.
Ultrasonic images also known as sonograms are made by sending pulses of ultrasound (sound waves) into tissue using a probe. The sound echoes off the tissue; with different tissues reflecting varying degrees of sound. These echoes are recorded and displayed as an image to the operator.
Compared to other prominent methods of medical imaging, ultrasound has several advantages. It provides images in real-time, it is portable and can be brought to the bedside, it is substantially lower in cost, and it does not use harmful ionizing radiation. (Read more on Wikipedia). In addition, ultrasound is only the visual diagnostic procedure that can be provided with no referring letter – only by patient’s request.

Medex Ultrasound at Home service is available six days a week (Sunday-Friday) from 8:00 A.M. till 21:00 P.M. – our administrator will fit an appointment date and time to your availability.
We assist in handling of (international) insurance issues and we make sure the payment process goes smooth and with minimal bureaucratic hassle. In addition, we accept bank transfers, VISA, MasterCard and cash payment methods.
If you have the international health insurance – we will assist to handle the claim issues. In case you have not purchased international health insurance – only the method to cover the medical procedure or medical consultation is direct payment.
